What is Murph's Big Puddle Fishin'?

Murph's Big Puddle Fishin' is meant to be a relaxing game, featuring Psyop's character Murph the sock puppet. Playing the CDI on real hardware or Flycast is ideal. It will not run on all Dreamcast emulators.

Objective of the game

The goal is to go as far deep as you can, and see the beautiful gradients the depths of the puddles have to offer.

As you collect money from fishing you can spend it in the shop on upgrades to make fishing easier. There's three options, Reel Strength, Line Strength, and Reel Speed.
Reel Strength is divided against the fishes strength when calculating tension.
Line strength directly lowers the final calculated tension to give the feeling of getting a stronger line. Reel Speed increases the speed in which you reel in.

The different kinds of fish have different stats. Their aggressiveness, strength, speed, total stamina, stamina recovery, and value are all different.

Controls

When cursor is active: Select somewhere in the water to cast your rod

When your rod is cast, you can press either of the triggers to reel the fish in.
Yanking the rod left and right when a fish is hooked will result in the fish losing stamina at a faster rate. Once you are deep enough, you probably can't catch fish without running their stamina out.
